How to handle a non-conforming result

A result is non-conforming when it is outside the limits for that test — a hot outlet running cold, a cold outlet running warm, a missing TMV check. BRS flags it on the data entry screen and it must be dealt with before the visit is finished.

Steps

1. The test shows as Non Conforming and is counted on the right. Open it.

   

2. Fill in the Comments & Recommendations — what was found and what should happen. Text Options gives you standard wording.

3. Add a photo if it helps show the problem (Non conformity - Photo Upload).

4. If physical work is needed, raise a remedial action (Add New Remedial) — choose the Remedial Type (for example New asset identified, Matter of concern) and describe it. It then appears in Remedial Actions for the site to track to completion.

5. Save the result. The Non Conforming count drops as each one is handled.
