How to set up sensor rules

Administration › Standards › Sensor Rules defines what a remote sensor reading has to do before BRS reacts — for example a hot outlet below 50 °C for three readings in a row, or a cold outlet above 20 °C.

Steps

1. Open Sensor Rules. Each entry is a rule set with a total shown at the top.

   

2. Add New Rule Set — name it, then add the individual thresholds and what each one does (alert, nonconformity, notify).

3. Use Edit, Copy or Delete on a rule set. Copy is handy for making a variant of an existing set.
